Use this technique with Big Idea Pads when a team wants to evaluate three or four significantly different long-term strategy options against several different future “endstate” scenarios, which were developed as Endstate Clusters during a previous Thinking with Hexagons session.  The team members evaluate how each strategy option would likely play out in each alternative future scenario based on several measurement criteria (Critical Success Factors) within each option/endstate intersection.
